Behind dark, iron doors and even darker shadows lies the newly-minted Audience Chamber. Due to the nature of the tower, very little light escaped into this room despite its immense size. Artificial bulbs brighter than the normal household still barely lit the place, adding to the mysterious nature of its agents.
Drapes bearing the insignia of a mask--metallic, heartless, and definitely an unintentional parody of a human face--adorned as lavish decoration to the place. Outside the doors, however, few such insignias could be found. They were, after all, quite new.
The ever-known iron dictator, Doom, resided himself to the throne, having now just been given another nervous and roundabout message that basically amounted to "I'm sorry, it didn't work." It was given, time again, by a rather scrawny looking man who kept most of his face concealed by bandages and a lightly colored robe.
As synonymous with his very reputation, Doom had the man lifted off the air by two mere fingers. A teenaged lady--Asian of origin, and clad in a pitch black, military-esque uniform that was adorned with some decorative patches of silver--stood ever present at the seated Dr. Doom. Upon this latest platter she presented was a simple, yet fine glass of wine.
The short man, however, did not stay short for long nor did the king remain seated--with the greatest of ease, he loomed above this man. So, so much looming...
"You had best be returning to the search for the young mister Walker, servant," he said, staring his dark eyes, through his dark mask, into the beady little ones of the frailer-looking man. The young lady just behind and away from Doom gasped a little at the name but went otherwise unnoticed. Had he been looking, he'd have noticed she also froze in place.
"Otherwise, the damage his absence will cause shall be the least of your worries, servant Finder." Today was more of a joyous day--Doom had finished designing the latest model of Hunter-class model robots and they had just started production--and the trip to his throne was uneventful. More importantly, the thought of harming the man before him never crossed his mind (which was always a good thing).
With a wave of his hand, and a stern yet simple utterance of "Leave me", the servant hustled out.
It felt good, this seat of power. Once known as the ghostly organization known as the "Black Order", a secretive order dedication to the eradication of demons, now belonged in the pocket of one of the world's most ambitious and cunning of it's supervillains--even if it was not "his" world.
"Ms. Lee."
Her face gave the facade that she was daydreaming, but this young lady was far from it. "Yes?"
"I will trust you have no objection on this course of action? Against young master Walker, I mean," he said. Beneath that mask, it was hard to tell he was not one of the automatons that her brother used to make.
"...no."
"I have promised, after all, to bring him back alive. That is less to say he will be back in one piece. And he most likely won't be brought back in perfect condition."
While pleasant, the air usually was, it suddenly grew quite tense. While everything else seemed fine for Ms. Lee, this was always the show stopper, the end of the ride. Like honey that had been poisoned after consumption, it was that one bit about serving this man that always pushed away any kind thoughts she had towards Doom--that is, his casual disregard for the people she personally cared about. Especially that particular young man.
Ms. Lee let him know through her glare and not with words. He couldn't see--or maybe he could and just didn't care--but it was with utter venom directed solely on the new administrator of the Black Order who demanded he be treated like a king.
Truly, he was a villain to everyone.
.....aaaaand it stops there.
So you said "the Tower". But you did not specify "which" tower, so I went with the HQ of the Black Order from the canon of my other muse, Allen Walker (which also happens to be a rather large tower). So as we can see here, Doom has taken over, the Chinese girl Lenalee brings him wine....(something she already does, with pleasure and enthusiasm, in her original canon)...and Allen is on the run.
Was thinking about doing Animus....buuuut then I thought "trolololol" and did this instead. Not one of the more exciting bits, but it's the TAKING OVER that's the fun part. Hope I didn't disappoint you so much as pleasantly surprise.

Jan. 7th, 2013 11:19 pmCHARACTER NAME:
CHARACTER SERIES:
[OOC]
This is the permissions list for OOC (out of character), activity.
Answer the following questions with "yes" or "no", as well as additional information if desired.
Backtagging: eh go on
Threadhopping: ok
Fourthwalling: not so fine
Offensive subjects (elaborate): "Offensive" is a debatable term. Something like "cutting oneself" or "gun control" doesn't faze me. But saying that Terry Goodkind is a good writer will bring out the rage.
[IC]
This is the permissions list for IC (in-character), activity.
Answer the following questions with "yes" or "no", as well as additional information if desired. With IC permissions, it's a good idea to elaborate on what other players can expect from your character if they choose to do any of the following:
Hugging this character: Do not recommend it
Kissing this character: Good luck!
Flirting with this character: Character must be of age 18 or up. Then it "might" be considered.
Fighting with this character: Is fine.
Killing this character: It was nice knowing you.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Is resistant to it, but the things you'll find on the inside...try if you want.
Warnings:
This is Doctor. Freaking. Doom. He's unpleasant as it is, even if you're on his good side. And should you get on his bad side....well, it doesn't really take much. Sometimes nothing at all. We're all just pawns on his chessboard of life. Grandoise insults pepper his every paragraph when he is addressing something, at all times. And it may be a little difficult to read, what with the big, hard to understand words he plucks from his memory (reading books of magickal lore will do that to you).
And if ends up actually "liking" someone, be prepared because that "love" is about as deadly and acidic as his hate.
